County League Athletics dates and venues
Below are the dates and venues are for the 2017 County League Season.
The teams are usually made up of year 8 and 10 athletes but there may be some athletes from year 7 and 9 who are selected for these fixtures:
Round 1: Wednesday 3rd May - Westminster Lodge track (St Albans)
Round 2: Monday8th May - Gosling track (Welwyn Garden City)
Round 3: Wednesday 17th May - Gosling track (Welwyn Garden City)
Round 4: Monday 22nd May - Westminster Lodge track (St Albans)
Round 5: Monday 7th June - Gosling track (Welwyn Garden City)
Round 6: Tuesday 13th June - Ridlins Track (Stevenage)
Plate Final: 3rd July
County League Final: 4th July
This is a league competition and therefore athletes are competing as part of a team and should be available for every round if selected to help the team reach the County Final competition if possible.
Indoor training will begin before Easter.

Under 19 Girls team make Beaumont history!
Congratulations to the Under 19 Girls team who have become the first Beaumont girls team to reach a National Schools Quarter Final. By beating County Upper School 50 - 23 on 20th January, we have set up a Quarter Final against The American School in London at Beaumont on 21st February. This is a fantastic achievement by the girls and regardless of the result, they should be extremely proud. The squad is made up of years 9-13 players and everyone is welcome to cheer them on this Tuesday.

District/County basketball round up

The year 10 boys were our first team to win a competition this year, winning 5 District League games and becoming District A Division Champions
